JOB POST

The Election Commission of India is looking for placement of law graduates or post-graduates as researchers. applications from suitable candidates for engagement, on contract basis, of Legal Assistants.

 

Post: Legal Researcher.

Location: Delhi.

Duration: One year, subject to further renewal of contract.

Pay Scale:

Rs. 50,000/- to 60,000/- depending on the experience of the experienced candidates.

Rs. 35,000/- per month for freshers.

 

Eligibility for Legal Researcher(experienced):

  1. The candidate must be a Law Graduate from any School/College/University/Institution established by law in India and recognised by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate.
  2. The candidate must knowledge of computer including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as Manupatra, SCCOonline, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.
  3. Two years experience in handling legal matters.

 

Eligibility for Legal Researcher(freshers):

  1. The candidate must be a Law Graduate from any School/College/University/Institution established by law in India and recognised by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate.
  2. The candidate must knowledge of computer including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as Manupatra, SCCOonline, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.

 

Mode of Selection: Descriptive Test & Interview. After which a combined merit list will be made, based on both.
